Tetovo: On the Drive Back to Skopje we Stopped in Tetovo

On the drive back from Ohrid, we made a quick stop in Tetovo.

I wanted to show my husband and daughter the Tetovo campus of South East European University (SEEU).  (I teach on the Skopje campus, but I have participated in meetings and conferences on the Tetovo campus as well.)

I also wanted to show then the campus of the State University in Tetovo - where I am teaching with the Political Science and Law Faculties.

We also stopped by to see the famous Sarena Dzamija (Pasha Djamija) -- the beautiful painted mosque was built in 1459. More than 30,000 eggs were used to manufacture the paint and glaze.
