International Women's Association May general membership meeting

Enjoyed the monthly gathering of the International Women's Association Skopje meeting.  Once again we met at the Park Hotel (http://parkhotel.mk/). It was a lovely, sunny spring day, and it was pleasant to sit outside along the river, enjoying a macchiatos and good conversation.

Members are planning to have a table at the upcoming Yard Sale at Skopje -- to sell books with the proceeds going to a community partner.  It was agreed that the NGO Happy Life (based in Tetovo) would be the beneficiary of this fundraiser.

I was coming from meeting and heading out to more meetings, so at this month's IWA meeting I also ordered some soup for lunch. Much to my disappointment the pumpkin is no longer in season. This broccoli was a delicious second.

of course, the soup had to be followed by a macchiato
