One Can - Edna Moze - Women's Day event at Skopje City Mall

We wanted to get to the City Mall Skopje to see the booths devoted to Edna Moze (One Can) -- an organization dedicated to help single mothers. 

This event is taking place at Skopje City Mall from March 3 through 7 - in advance of Women's Day. So many meetings and events and classes the next few days that this afternoon was our only time to stop by.

I was pleased that we had a chance to visit and to support some of the women in the organization - and also that I had the chance to meet the One Can director to learn more about possible collaboration in Skopje and/or Tetovo.

this talented young woman crocheted all of these beautiful items -- my favorite were coasters that were oranges -- bought a few for Christmas gifts -- a taste of Florida and Macedonia at the same time

this artist created amazing pieces using a resin

some of the lip balms and soaps being sold to support One Can

my new basket already in use!  I love it because it is made from recycled newspapers and the proceeds benefit women in need  -- a win/win (AND it is in the colors of the Macedonian flag)
