Dobredojde Maedonia Welcome Center Fashion Sale and party

What fun my daughter and I had at the DMWC (Dobredojde Macedonian Welcome Center) Fashion and Accessories Sale and Party last week.   Members of DMWC donated clothing and accessories -- and guests could purchase these items (with all proceeds going to support the DMWC).

(This is the organization that hosted the Vranec wine tasting event way back when we first arrived.)

My daughter and I found some great accessories for a great price to support a great cause. A win-win-win situation. 

(My favorite find was a new-with-tags AXEL purse - bright yellow and pink - not so much appropriate for winter in Skopje but will be perfect for summer in Madeira Beach.)

The Mission of the Dobredojde Macedonian Welcome Center (as explained on the facebook page) is

"To welcome newcomers and to offer them practical assistance in settling in Macedonia.

"To introduce our guests to the natural and cultural attractions on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia.

"To organize and to support events aimed at promoting cultural and social exchanges among the foreigners residing in Macedonia and between the international and the local communities."
