Every week I head to Tetovo to teach at the State University.
I snapped these pictures (below) of the view from my classroom window (from my Political Science class: "Democracy and Civil Society" on the 5th floor) when my students went on break.
I think students everywhere appreciate the breaks from the classroom - but here the breaks seem so much more important - since everyone here smokes - and I think they need a cigarette break.
As I sat in the classroom, alone, waiting for the students to return, I appreciated the beautiful views - of the mountains (and the snow-capped mountains in the distance), the blue skies, the many minarets that dot the landscape.
