We were thrilled with our hotel in Budva. The location - the views from the balcony - the spa - the delicious buffet. It was magnificent.
The only drawback was that we were only going to be staying there for one night.
I had wanted to travel to Dubrovnik - and we had already booked the hotel there for the following next night - but we were having such a wonderful time at this resort - that it seemed a shame to leave. Still, we pushed on with our (ambitious) spring break travel itinerary.
We enjoyed Dubrovnik as well - but - we will always have happy memories of our time in Budva - and we hope to return to Hotel Avala some day.
