I don't think I ever posted about the Ramstore Mall. This is another mall that is a short walk from our apartment. We were here our first weekend in town, sorting out our Macedonian phone. Back then it was cold and the sidewalks were covered in snow.
Now there are displays for Easter.
And, as it was April 1, there were kids in costumes every where.
We needed to pick up a gift for a birthday party my daughter was attending later in the day - so we decided to have lunch here, buy the gift, and then get to the Skopje City Museum that is next door (at long last!)

these figures are animatronic - so this still photo doesn't do the display justice |
|
delicious lunch at the food court - on a plate with silverware - how civilized |
|
it was such a beautiful day...no jackets needed |
|
view of the balcony/terrace from the City Museum |
|
went back to the mall for a Turkish coffee and a gelato before heading back to our apartment |

we were sitting next to this artist while we were enjoying our snack...and we decided to have him draw a caricature of my daughter |
